Meet your instructors

ADRIANA DUNAVSKA

Adriana Dunavska is one of the most celebrated rhythmic gymnasts of her generation and an esteemed coach with a long record of international success. She is an Olympic silver medallist from the 1988 Seoul Games and the absolute European Champion from Helsinki the same year, earning her place among the sport’s all-time greats. Over her competitive career, she claimed 13 medals from the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships.

After retiring from competition, Adriana turned her talents to coaching at the highest level. She has served as head coach of the national teams of Bulgaria and France, helping shape the development of top gymnasts in both countries. Her expertise has also been sought worldwide—she has worked as a consultant with the national teams of Canada, the United States, Brazil, China, South Africa, Belarus, Italy, and others.

Among her notable coaching achievements are leading Bulgaria’s junior national team in 1991 in Lisbon to first and second place in the individual all-around and first place in the team ranking. She also guided the Bulgarian senior group to a strong fifth-place finish at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Adriana Dunavska is widely respected for her technical mastery and commitment to the sport. Her impact continues to be felt around the world, both through her own coaching and through the generations of athletes and coaches she has mentored.

KAMELIA DUNAVSKA

Kamelia Dunavska is one of the most distinguished coaches and former elite rhythmic gymnast whose career has left a lasting mark on the sport. As a key member of the legendary Bulgarian group, she captured both World and European Championship titles in 1987 and 1988, cementing her place among rhythmic gymnastics’ most accomplished athletes.

After ending her competitive career, Kamelia dedicated herself to coaching at the highest international level. She has served as head coach for the national teams of Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Japan, and the United States, sharing her expertise and shaping programs across four continents. Her sought-after insights have also benefited the national teams of Canada, Slovakia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Israel, and Germany, where she has contributed as a trusted consultant.

Among her most notable coaching achievements are:

Silver medal at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games with the Bulgarian junior national team
European title in the mixed apparatus routine with Turkey’s national team in 2020
Qualifying the national teams of Greece for the 2012 London Olympics and Germany for the 2024 Paris Olympics
